Plastic Encased Order Form

Since I built this site I continually receive questions about who still makes "encased cents". During the pandemic, 2019-2020 time frame the only company I knew that made encased cents closed. I was told at the time that the tool makes who engraved the designs on the dies had all retired. Since then I have looked for a way to make encased coins. I recently learned how to make a 3D printed coin holder. With the Pan Am 1901 vulcanite encased in mind, I places a sticker on the reverse and had a relatively inexpensive plastic encased coin.

Plastic encased cents, nickels, and quarters are now available for purchase. The ones above are shown with a metal key ring attached and a blank reverse. They can be ordered with or without the key ring. They can also be ordered with or without the loop for the key ring. I have cent, nickel and quarter size available for purchase. The coin snaps into the holder and stays firmly in place. They may be ordered with or with out the coin. If ordered with the coin a circulating coin will be used. In that case the charge will be the value of the coin. If you want a specific year coin inserted we will be happy to do that and will bill you based on the cost of the requested coin. There is an additional 10% charge for acquiring specific coins collectible coins.

Encasements can be ordered in quantities of 50. Production time is 48 hours from receipt of the order and confirmation by email. Total cost will be sent for approval along with any design information for approval. Payment is required at the time of the order. If ordered with coins inserted allow an additional 24-48 hours for the acquisition of the requested coin. Coins will be sipped by USPS unless otherwise specified. UPS shipping with tracking is available.

A sticker can be printed which can the be attached to the reverse of the encasement.

The cost of the encasements is as follows:

• Per 50 encasements (minimum amount) is $.25 each = $12.50
• If key rings are attached add 50 x .05 = $2.50
• Personalized stickers for the reverse and $5.00 per sheet.
• Shipping and handling = $10 USPS (ask for quote on UPS)
